Our Wines

With Jennifer’s retirement in 2019, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignons were the last releases for the HL Vineyards and Two Old Dogs labels. The Two Old Dogs label was sold in 2018, and the new owners have chosen different fruit sources and winemaking. The remainder of our Library wines were sold to collectors in 2019, and prior to the Glass Fire in 2020 the Herb Lamb vineyard was being leased to Thomas Rivers Brown for inclusion in his single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, signature Rivers Marie wines.

Following the devastation of the Glass Fire and the replanting of the vines, Thomas Rivers Brown once again has signed on to lease and shepherd the vineyard, so look for his Herb Lamb Vineyard designated wines following the 2023 vintage. To monitor the Rivers Marie rendition of fruit from our hillside vineyard, please sign up at RiversMarie.com. If you enjoyed our HL and Two Old Dogs wines over the years, please follow winemaker Michael Trujillo at Trujillowines.com.

Should you have any of our wines left in your cellar that you are looking forward to enjoying, these original tasting and winemaking notes will give an indication of the wines’ production, the vintage conditions and enjoyment.
